– Galagata , No pressure grudge bout preps well on schedule

Exodus Boxing Stables Director Anthony Mwamba says preparations for the grudge  fight between Francis “ Galagata “ Zulu and Joseph ‘ no pressure”  Chingangu are progressing well.

 

Mwamba says the fight will go ahead as scheduled on the 24th of August this year in Lusaka.

 

Exodus Boxing Stables Director could not however give full details of the fight and other logistics.

 

He however said he will comment later after today’s consultative meeting with  key stakeholders.

 

The grudge bout between the two local heavy weights will be a joint World International Boxing Federation (WIBF)/World Boxing Union (WBU).

.

Mwamba said the 12-round bout between the two long arch rivals is aimed at promoting the local heavyweights.

 

Zulu 38 said he would not be underrated and has vowed to make sure he sends Chingangu 46 into retirement after the August 24 bout saying it is high time his rival hangs up his gloves.

 

His rival Chingangu , also said he has no pressure to enter the ring and remained confident of knocking down Zulu in the ring.

 

Chingangu is on record to have dethroned Zulu in  the national  heavy weight championship. Since then the two have been vying to face each other.


The supporting bouts for the August 24th Bout are Pythias Chisenga who takes on Isaac Omari in a WIBF Flyweight clash while Heavyweight Ngandu Biselele will be up against Boniface Simasiku.

 

 The rest of the supporting bouts will be between Nelson Manda and Alfred Kaziwa in a lightweight non-title fight while Amos Temfwa will fight Amos Kakawila . Abias Silupumbwe  will take on Ntumba Mwamba while upcoming woman boxer Maggie Lingililani face off with Patience Mastala.
