Lands Deputy Minister urges Manyinga residents to observe unity

Solwezi, June 12, ZANIS ——-Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Deputy Minister, Danny Chingimbu has implored people of newly created Manyinga district to unite and move with the Patriotic Front government to speed up development in the area.

Mr Chingimbu said the people of Manyinga district should get united and forge ahead with the PF government in order to take development closer to them.

The deputy minister made the call when he addressed a public rally at Sikufele primary school in Manyinga during his series of meetings to explain the removal of subsidies on fuel and maize.

He said division among the people in the district will continue slowing down progress and government efforts to start building government offices in the newly created district.

Mr Chingimbu said the PF government is more than ready to commence construction works in the newly created district because it has the funds to construct offices, district hospital and a secondary school.

Speaking at the same meeting, District Commissioner Queen Manela said Manyinga is among five newly created districts in the country where the PF government has planned to build modern government offices, district hospital and a secondary school using money served from removal of subsidies on fuel and maize.
