Zambia drops three positions

–Zambia has dropped three places on both the latest FIFA /Coca-Cola World and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) rankings.

According to FIFA.Com, Zambia has dropped 3 places from 46 in the world to 49 and 4th to 7th position in Africa.

Its opponent in this weekend’s world cup qualifier, Lesotho, has moved one place from 152 to 153 in the world and has remained on 40th position in Africa.

And the Chipolopolo’s other opponents in the Brazil 2014 World qualifiers, Ghana, has moved one place up from 22 to 21 in the world and Sudan has moved one place down from 136 to 135 in the world.

On the other hand, African champions, Nigeria, has dropped three places on the FIFA rankings from 28 to 31, while Ivory Coast has moved one place down from 12 to 13 with Mali moving three places up from 26 to 23.

Meanwhile, Spain has maintained its first position followed by Germany, Argentina, Croatia, Netherlands, Portugal, Colombia, Italy, England and Ecuador closing the 10th bracket.
