–The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ/MTN) Super Division league this weekend enters Week 8 with exciting fixtures in Kitwe and Lusaka.

According to the fixtures obtained by ZANIS Sports from the Football House in Lusaka today, the game of the day is likely to be between current league leaders, Nkana Football Club who takes on sensational Zanaco FC at Kitwe’s Nkana Stadium.

Nkana Coach Masautso Mwale will be looking for a straight victory to maintain their grip at the summit of the league table after a disappointing one-nil loss to NAPSA in a Week 7 last weekend.

On the other hand, Zanaco FC, who is without their suspended Head Coach Keegan Mumba currently saving a three month ban, will also be looking for an away win after beating new comers, struggling Lime Hotspurs 3-0 last week.

Mumba was suspended for allegedly issuing media statements that brought the name of the game in disrepute after he questioned the timing of the talent identification programme for national soccer time players across the country.

Lusaka hosts two separate local teams involving Green Buffaloes, who takes on High Flying Nkwazi FC at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka, while the George Lwandamina tutored Red Arrows hosts NAPSA Stars at Nkoloma Stadium.

NAPSA, who last week ended Nkana’s six matches unbeaten run through a veteran Harry Milanzi solitary goal, will have to prove their prowess against Red Arrows FC who are coming from a last week’s one all draw against Power Dynamos FC in Kitwe.

Other mouth-watering weekend fixtures will see magnificent Kabwe Warriors travelling away to Konkola Mine Police, Forest Rangers host Zesco United, Lime Hotspurs awaits brave Nchanga Rangers, and Kalulushi Modern Stars takes on Konkola Blades while stylish Roan United hosts Power Dynamos.
