—Education, Science Vocational Training and Early Education Deputy Minister, Nevelyn Wilombe, has called for reconciliation among PF party officials if development is to be achieved in the district.

Prof Wilombe made the call when he paid a courtesy on Mporokoso District Commissioner, Janipher Choongo, at her office over the weekend.

Prof Wilombe said the district lagged behind in terms of development because of the squabbles among party leaders.

Prof Wilombe, who is also Mporokoso Central Member of Parliament, observed that for two years members have been working in isolation at the expense of development in the area.

He noted that reconciliation was cardinal for the attainment of development in the area.

The Deputy Minister, however, expressed happiness that all the wrangles were being resolved and members had now started working in tandem.

Prof Wilombe also warned of stern action against civil servants working against the party manifesto of the PF.

The Deputy Minister said civil servants that aimed at frustrating Government developmental strides risked being transferred to other districts.

And District Commissioner, Janipher Chongo, thanked Prof Wilombe for a great reconciliation with party members.

The DC said she was happy that projects will soon take off because all the differences have been resolved amicably and CDF Funds will be released to towards infrastructural development.
