————–North-Western province Permanent Secretary Augustine Seyuba has urged the media in the province to be responsive to the developmental activities that are happening.

Mr Seyuba said North-Western has become a centre of economic attraction to government which demands that the media seriously get involved by informing the public on what is happening.

He said this when he addressed the media at the Provincial Minister’ conference hall on the need to highlight various development activities taking place in the province.

Mr. Seyuba said he feels that the media need to strategize itself and respond to the information gap between the people and what government is doing for them.

North West television News Manager Henry Chilombo applauded the provincial administration for the support it is giving to the media.

Mr Chilombo said the media in the province is facing operational challenges which are limiting coverage in the region.
