Health Minister commends Zambia’s partners

Mongu, April 9, ZANIS — Health Minister Joseph Kasonde has commended collaborating partners in supplementing government’s efforts in the health sector in Western province.

Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Provincial Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba in his office this evening ahead of the commissioning of the Eye clinic funded by Lions Aid Norway, Dr Kasonde said government attaches great importance to improve health care.

Dr Kasonde said the opening of the eye clinic is the beginning of a series of commissioning of many projects in the country.

Vice President Guy Scot is tomorrow expected in Mongu Western Province to commission the Eye clinic department at Lewanika General Hospital which has been constructed at a cost of over KR 6 Million.
