Renard arrives in Kasama

— Zambia National Soccer team Coach Herve Renard has arrived in Kasama on a three-day talent identification programme.

Speaking on arrival at Kasama Airport today, Renard said he is excited to be in Northern Province on national assignment.

He said the talent identification programme in Kasama will give him chance to assess some of the talented footballers from the northern region.

Renard observed that reservoirs of players in provinces needs to be developed so that the technical bench for the Zambia national soccer team can have a wider selection of players to include for national engagements.

He said he is confident that after the talent identification programme in Kasama, some players with good football skills will be considered for national duty.

Renard further said Zambia is doing well on the international ranking but needs to reach greater heights.

The Chipolopolo trainer is accompanied to Northern Province by his assistant Patrice Beamulle and National Soccer Team Technical Director Honour Janza.

And Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Regional Coordinator Lisbon Mpande said soccer fans in Kasama were excited to see Herve Renard and his technical bench.

He expressed optimism that the talent identification programme that Renard and his entourage will conduct in Kasama will be a success.
