ZANIS reports that out-going Muchinga Province Minister Charles Banda commissioned the only filling at a colorful ceremony held at Continental Oil Company Limited Chinsali Filling Station located at Nambuluma turn off in Chinsali.

Mr. Banda said Chinsali has operated for a long time without a filling station and depended on Mpika and Nakonde for the supply of fuel.

Mr. Banda said he would leave Muchinga a proud man after personally witnessing the transformation that the new Province is undergoing.

Mr. Banda assured Continental Oil Company Limited management and the business community at large in the province that Government will continue to provide support and ensure that more of such investments are established in the districts.

He said that the Chinsali Filling Station becomes the fifth station in the country.

Continental Oil Company Limited has filling stations in Mpika, Kapiri-mposhi , Kitwe Mansa Districts and now Chinsali.
