US based long distance runner, Prince Mumba hopes for a successful 2013

PRINCE Mumba says he can have a successful year if he stays injury free.
The US based long distance runner said in an interview that he was targeting to start participating in the diamond league which commences on May 10 in Doha, Qatar.
He however said he would take his time before competing in any race after recovering from a knee injury he sustained during the 2012 London Olympics.
Mumba said he had started training and was working hard to ensure that he achieve his targets this year.
“This year my goal is to compete at least in two diamond leagues and hopefully make the final at the world championship in Moscow,” Mumba said “Training is going well now. I just recovered from the knee problem.”
The first round of 14 of the Diamond League would be held in Doha, Qatar on May 10.
Mumba said he was hopeful of not suffering from another injury before taking part in any major event this year.
After the London Olympics injury side lined the runner and missed the Stocholm and Rieti races and only started training this year.
Mumba said he would ensure he got back to his confidence levels and qualify for the 2014 commonwealth games.
