PARLIAMENT which adjourned on December 12 last year will resume sitting on Tuesday February 19, 2013.
Clerk of the National Assembly Doris Mwinga announced the development in a statement issued in Lusaka on Monday.
“The second session of the Eleventh National Assembly, which adjourned sine die on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 will resume on Tuesday, February 19, 2013,” Mrs Mwinga said.
The House sat for a total of 46 days.
During the last sitting, the House received two new members Wynter Kabimba and Steven Masumba.
The House was mainly debating the 2013 national budget and was later approved.
The House also considered and passed nine Bills
