Police launches investigations into the KR 40,000 cash theft at PEP Stores in Kabwe

Police in Kabwe says they have instituted investigations into the theft at PEP Stores in the district in which KR 40,000 cash was stolen.

The unknown thieves who broke into the shop last week on Monday also stole undisclosed assortment of goods.

ZANIS reports that Central Province Deputy Divisional Criminal Investigations Officer Charles Mbita said this in a telephone interview, today.

Mr. Mbita said that Police have instituted investigations into the PEP Stores theft adding that police are making progress in their investigations.

He said Police have so far taken some finger print samples and are seriously pursuing the matter.

The Central Province Deputy Divisional Criminal Investigations Officer has assured the public the all the culprits involved in the matter will be brought to book to face justice.

On the night of Monday last week, KR40, 000 cash and a number of assorted items were allegedly stolen by unknown persons who broke into PEP Stores in Kabwe’s Central Business District (CBD).
