GOVERNMENT WANTS TO WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY, CHURCH – Malanji

The government wants to work with the community, particularly with the church says the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Amb. Joseph Malanji.

The Minister said this during church service when he Joined congregants of the Evangelical church in Solwezi this morning.

*”President Lungu has not created the ministry of Religious affairs for mere politics. He meant to enhance the relationship between the Government & the Church so that together we can serve our community”.*

In his speech, Hon. Amb. Malanji urged the church to continue building schools as education is key to development. *”we want to see more schools like the one the Solwezi central evangelical church is building”*, he said.

In the same event the Foreign Minister Donated K20,000 towards the church building & also blessed the 3 choirs with K1500, K1200 & K1000 respectively for singing so well.

He further announced that he will be visiting the province every 3 months to ensure that development progresses as well as he is a son of the soil who hails from this region.

The Minister was accompanied by his wife Mrs Malanji, the Provincial Chairman Mr. Jackson Kungo, Provincial Deputy Permanent Secretary Mr Douglas Ngimbu, the District Commissioner Mrs. Rosemary Kamalonga & other senior government officials.
