Police update on Matero murder case

We wish to inform members of the public that Police have made progress in investigating the case of murder which occurred in Lusaka’s Paradise compound in Matero in the early hours of yesterday.

We therefore urge members of the public to remain calm as police officers are working round the clock to see to it that the case is concluded without delay.

An update on the progress made in the investigations will soon be given as doing so now, may jeopardise the whole process.

We further appeal to those with missing relatives to go to Matero Police or UTH mortuary to help in identifying the victim who still remains unidentified.

The Zambia Police Service remains indebted to the members of the public in Matero who have been working hard and in collaboration with the Police in crime detection and prevention.
