Power Dynamos yesterday appointed former Highlanders Coach Kelvin Kaindu as their new head Coach.

The role fell vacant after former Head Coach Dan Kabwe resigned two weeks ago to join Lusaka Dynamos.

Kaindu has been coaching in Zimbabwe since 2012 and took his club Highlanders within a breath of the Zimbabwean league title in 2012 and 2013 which they lost on Goal difference before he resigned in 2014 after the club suffered a 3-1 home loss to ZPC Kariba which was its worst defeat at home since 2010.

He also coached Triangle United in 2015 and How Mine in 2016 where they finished in fourth and tenth place on the table respectively.

Kaindu’s record in Zimbabwe stands at 68 wins, 46 draws and 30 losses in 144 league matches with a WIN percentage of 47%.
