A 32 years old man identified as Chitiya Chilomba Makayi has been
found dead in Lusaka’s Chilenje Township.

Meanwhile, police has also detained a man who was found with the
deceased vehicle as he could not give an explanation as to how the
vehicle was found in his possession.

Police spokesperson Esther Katongo said Police was awaiting
post-mortem results in order to reveal the cause of death as the body
did not have any physical injuries.

“We picked up a dead body at 08:00 hours on Saturday identified as
Chitiya Chilomba Makayi aged 32 years old. We found the body in
Chilenje off Muramba road near Elibar Xris Corner.

We have also detained one person who was found with the deceased motor
vehicle, Toyota allion with registration number BAA 3610 as he could
not give an explanation on how he found himself with the vehicle,” Ms
Katongo said

She said in a statement that Police did not reveal the name of the
suspect as they needed to carry out a thorough investigation.
