Government has ordered all motorists using initials of their preferred candidates as number plates on their vehicles to remove them with immediate effect.

Home Affairs Minister Panji Kaunda says it is an offence for motorists to use such number plates.
Colonel Kaunda has warned that any motorist found with such number plate risk their vehicle being impounded.

In an interview with QTV news, Colonel Panji says it is a security risk to have such campaign number plates.
He explains that it would be difficult to tell whether indeed the owner of the vehicle belongs to a particular political party or is a criminal.

  1. GUYS HERE IS THE LATEST SCAM GOING ON, PLEASE READ AND PASS IT ON SHARE.. Please be careful. I don’t know how many of you shop at Chilenje mall and Cosmopolitan Mall but this may be useful to know. A good friend of mine has become a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. This happened to him and it could happen to you. The victims are always males, so ladies, please pass this information along to your husbands, boyfriends and male friends. Here’s how the scam works. Two seriously good-looking 18-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping in the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and wax.It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say ‘No’ and instead ask you for a ride to any place nearby. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they seat each other in the back seat. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts kissing you , while the other one steals the wallet. My friend Edgar Sivintu Banda had his wallet stolen last week on Thursday , the money he had in an envelope on Friday, other valuables twice on Saturday , again on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, yesterday, and most likely again tomorrow. He lamented the ordeal to me.
