Esther Phiri to fight Almeida again, date set

Exodus Boxing Promotions says former world boxing champion Esther Phiri will fight Sandra Almeida of South Africa in a rematch on April 29th, this year.

The two boxers will fight for the World International Boxing Association- WIBA and World Boxing Federation-WBF Welterweight World titles.

Executive Director Anthony Mwamba has described the upcoming fight as exciting after the unceremonious end to last year’s fight.

Mwamba was speaking in a statement issued to ZNBC News in Lusaka yesterday.
