2016 New Year Message By Nevers Mumba

My name is Nevers Sekwila Mumba. My wife Florence and I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the entire Movement for Multiparty Democracy family to wish all Zambians a great and peaceful 2016. With all our conflicts and differences as a people, we have ended 2015 in the Zambian spirit and tradition of peace.

We shall continue in 2016 to depend on the faithfulness of God to keep us as one people under the banner of the Christian nation. May we use 2016 as a season to manage our differences, to enjoy our uniqueness and to celebrate our diversity.

The economic and political challenges we face today will be overcome in 2016 if only we choose to walk in forgiveness and love as a nation. I believe that Zambia shall be saved.
