UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema has accused the ruling Patriotic Front of using Police to stop opposition parties from organizing their structures.

He says this strategy by the ruling party will not works, stating that no amount of intimidation will stop him from meeting the people and organizing his party structures ahead of the 2016 general election.

Mr. Hichilema has since encouraged fellow opposition leaders not to be intimidated by the Police or cadres as they prepare for the forthcoming general election.

He has also urged fellow opposition leaders to unite and stop what he has termed as the PF’s barbaric behavior.

Mr. Hichilema says the attack by suspected PF cadres on a Mosque in Mtendere where FDD leader Edith Nawakwi was addressing a meeting is unacceptable and should be condemned by all Zambians.

Mr. Hichilema says the PF should be ashamed for turning the country into a war zone where they believe that violence is the only solution to silencing opponents.
