NDOLA has so far recorded 44,183 new registrations during the ongoing voter registration exercise.
Ndola Town Clerk Ernest Sumani said 35,728 were updated and 169 were deceased notifications.
Mr Sumani said the target was 58,733 new registrations.
“Ndola District has recorded 44,183 new registrations from the just-ended voter registration,” Mr Sumani said.
He said during an update in Ndola on the captured voters that the normal registration exercise would continue at the civic centre until March 31 next year.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia extended the mobile voter registration exercise by 21 days starting from November 23 to December 13.
