The Electoral Commission of Zambia – ECZ says the mobile voter registration exercise which has come to an end on Sunday will not be extended.
Speaking to ZNBC news in a telephone interview, ECZ Director Priscilla Isaac said the Commission will now concentrate on reviewing and putting together latest statistics from the exercise.
Ms. Isaac has since advised all those that missed out on the mobile issuance of voters cards to register from their district council offices as the exercise continues up to March 31st, 2016.
The ECZ Director has further revealed that the commission intends to carryout another mobile voter registration exercise in March 2016, for a period of two weeks.
A check by ZNBC News in selected registration centers found a number of people trekking to register as voters.

as described the process as a success.
