United Party for National Development -UPND member of parliament on Friday replicated their history of walking out of parliament, but retained after-wards.

Their action to briefly walk of parliament was precipitated by Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili’s Running Commentary dubbed ” Non-believers like Hakainde Hichilema” referring to the UPND President.

Mr Kambwili made a the running commentary as Vice President Inonge Wina was responding to a question on the significance of the Tabernacle National House of Prayers earmarked for construction.

Earlier Vice President Inonge Wina said the Tabernacle National House of Prayers will not only draw together Christians from various denominations but will also be accessed by non-believers to reflect on their lives.

Mrs Wina was confident that the ear-marked construction of the Tabernacle National House of Prayers will not fail.

She told the house that that the construction of the Tabernacles will be completed as was the case with Jerusalem Temple, highlighted in the bible.

Mrs Wina was responding to Kabompo west member of Parliament Ambrose Lufuma .

Mr Lufuma solicited Ms Wina’s comment on the significance of Tabernacle National House of Prayers.

He alleged the earmarked construction of the Tabernacle is not receiving support from Zambians.

This was during the Vice President’s Questions time in Parliament.

Meanwhile, there was commotion at Kasama’s Chambeshi market when Patriotic Front and opposition UPND cadres clashed.

This incident happened this afternoon after the cadres from the two political parties engaged in a physical confrontation which left a PF cadre seriously injured.

However, quick intervention by the police prevented further clashes between PF and UPND members.

And PF Kasama Central aspiring candidate Kelvin Sampa has condemned UPND cadres who he accused of provoking violence in Kasama Central Constituency.

Mr. Sampa said it is unacceptable for the opposition political party to spread its violent acts to other provinces after attacking Vice President Inonge Wina’s family in Nalolo constituency in Western Province.

He urged the police to immediately arrest the perpetrators of violence in Kasama District in order to maintain peace in the area.

Efforts to get a comment from UPND officials failed by broadcast time.
