THE Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) is the only choice for Zambians to take over from the Patriotic Front (PF) government in the 2016 elections because it is united, strong and has shown mature leadership by not engaging in any form of political violence, says FDD Nkana constituency aspiring candidate Ernest Mulebi.
He said apart from being mature and not engaging in violence like some other political parties, FDD was led by Edith Nawakwi, who is a vibrant, intelligent and experienced politician and had the ability to take Zambia to greater heights once voted into government.

The former UPND campaign manager for UPND president Hakainde Hichilema for Nkana constituency in the 2015 presidential election campaign, was speaking when he met branch and ward leaders in Kamakonde and Mugala areas.
“As FDD, we are a mature party because we don’t engage in political violence, we believe in articulating issues. We have an intelligent leader who will not allow you to engage in violence. “We are the only choice for Zambians to take over from the Patriotic Front (PF) government in the 2016 elections because we are united, strong and have shown mature leadership by not engaging in any form of violence. So Zambians should vote for us in 2016 elections,” Mr Mulebi said.
He also said he was confident of scooping the Nkana constituency seat once adopted to stand on the FDD ticket because he had done a lot of work in the area.
Mr Mulebi said he had done three years party mobilization in Nkana constituency where the electorate were not interested in any candidate but him.
“I have done a lot of work in the constituency and so I am not expecting anybody from another party to win in Nkana. Nkana is mine. I have done three years mobilization and people have liked me very much. They don’t want anybody else, but me,” he said
And Mr Mulebi advised the party to adopt parliamentary and local government candidates who reside in the constituency because they understood better the problems in their areas.
He said most of the problems being experienced by the people in Nkana constituency were old and could have been solved a long time ago.
“As FDD, we should ensure that we adopt parliamentary candidates who are residents in a particular area because they understand the problems we are facing. If you adopt a candidate from a different constituency, he will not pay much attention to addressing the problems in the area, “Mr Mulebi said.
