MTN Zambia has crossed the five million subscriber mark in its 10 years of operations in Zambia.

MTN chief marketing officer Manu Rajan said this in Lusaka yesterday when he handed keys of a Renault Duster worth K250,000 to Katete farmer Gershom Phiri, the winner of the Winna-4-Free competition.
Mr Rajan has assured MTN customers of total client satisfaction and commitment.
“MTN Zambia is committed to enriching the lives our customers, our best customer pledge is offering utmost satisfaction to our customers and we are glad that today an ordinary Zambian has been enriched and empowered with a new vehicle,’’ Mr Rajan said.
And a visibly happy Mr Phiri advised MTN subscribers to continue believing in the mobile service provider.
“I feel so good. I received the call while I was on a bike and I still I can’t believe it. This vehicle will really help me with carrying my farm produce from my garden to the market”, Mr Phiri said.
The competition came to an end in October and MTN subscribers have won over K1.2 million in cash prizes.
