State House says President Edgar Lungu’s working ties with other Heads of State are yielding fruits.
Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda says Zambia is importing electricity from Mozambique to respond to the deficit because of the warm relations existing with that Country.
He also says Zambia would have been hit with a fuel crisis if President Lungu did not engage his Tanzanian counterpart Jakaya Kikwete.
Mr. Chanda President Lungu wants to sort the energy needs of the Country in order to spur national development.
Mr. Chanda was speaking to ZNBC News in an interview in Lusaka.
