Some opposition political parties have emphasized the need for President Edgar Lungu to call for an indaba with the opposition and other stakeholders aimed at finding solutions to the current economic challenges in the country.

They have indicated their willingness to sit down with the PF government and share ideas on how best the country can come out of this economic crisis.
All People’s Congress (APC) President Nason Msoni tells QFM News that President Lungu should swallow his pride and extend an invitation to the opposition political parties and other economic experts to converge and try and find solutions to the economic crisis.
Mr. Msoni says the PF Government should not view the opposition as number one enemies but partners in development especially in this trying moment for the country.

And UPND President Hakainde Hichilema says the current problems the country is facing will worsen by December if they remain unresolved.
Mr. Hichilema says there is no harm in President Lungu calling on the opposition to offer solutions to the current situation.

He says what the country needs now is economic management leadership which he says is lacking in the PF administration.
But Fourth Revolution President Erick Chanda says it does not make sense to give the people in government ideas because they are paid for coming up with ideas.
Mr. Chanda says it is a sign of incompetence on the part of those in government to fail to work as expected of them.

He says this therefore calls for their removal from office.
