POLICE in Lusaka have instituted investigations into the alleged harassment of a legal assistant of Rabson Malipenga and Company by suspected United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres when he went to serve a notice of hearing.

Lusaka Province commissioner for police Charity Katanga said in Lusaka yesterday that a man identified as Arrived Musuma reported the matter to Lusaka Central Police Station.

Ms Katanga said Mr Musuma went to the UPND secretariat to serve the notice of hearing in a case in which Solwezi Central member of Parliament (MP) Dawson Kafwaya is challenging his suspension and has asked the High Court to restrain the party from expelling him.
Ms Katanga said the police are investigating the case.
