Jerabos new leader back in court tomorrow


The new leader of the famous Jerabos, Simeon Kalobo who is facing charges of aggravated robbery is set to appear in court tomorrow.

Last week, Simmy as he is popularly known led a gang at the Black Mountain where they used force to grab K7000 from a member of a rival gang who they ruthlessly stabbed in the buttocks.

Simmy appeared before a Kitwe Magistrate last week Friday, but the matter could not take off as court awaited instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Magistrate Chanunda Chawaula adjourned the matter to 19th August, 2015 for mention with Simmy and his co-accused sent back to Kamfinsa state Prison.

The matter has since transferred the matter to the High Court because of its gravity as Simmy of Nkana East and Geoffrey Venda of Bulangililo are charged with aggravated robbery.
