With the current business landscape in the region and adoption of the latest technologies, businesses can establish partnership, collaboration or joint ventures with telcos, E-commerce companies & banks, capitalizing on current mobile trends and technologies, to roll out new business or product offerings and earn new and ancillary revenue.

 

The one-day meeting, organized by Cyber Security Africa and industry stakeholders, is designed to highlight key Information Technology (IT) advancement and threats affecting financial institutions, government agencies as well as public and private organizations in their operations.

 

The Summit comes against a backdrop of the much needed front line measures required to protect infrastructure within organizations and systems from the current IT-related threats as a key strategic priority, with cyber attack identified as a top tier risk over the coming years.

 

The Banking and ICT Summit will bring together key stakeholders from the governments, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions and leading ICT experts to help in finding a lasting solution to address cyber crime.

Target participants include Bank Managers, Risk and Compliance, Internal IT Auditors, IT Security Managers, Cyber Crime personnel in the law enforcement units, Forensics experts, ICT Managers and those responsible for development of ICT and IT Security policies and procedures within their respective organizations.

 

The 5th Annual East Africa Banking and ICT Summit will strategically be convened in Dar es Salaam Tanzania in August 28th 2015 at the Serena Hotel, after its successful runs in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia and Zambia. It will bring together decision makers & corporate leaders from banks, telcos, ICT, internet sectors & enterprise end-users.
