L.V Who is Blake the Voice?

Blake the Voice: Inyambo Situmbeko “Blake The Voice” is a Zambian recording artist, dancer, songwriter and model. I taught myself how to sing and dance at a young age. In 2013,I met Lukundo Siwale “Superman” who introduced me to a new platform, that handed me an opportunity to work with “Krytic So’Good Rap Entertainer” on his album “Best before forever” , “Marvel So’Good” on his mixtape “Grown and heavy one”.
I performed at bittersweet poetry show.

L.V What are you working on at the moment?

Blake the voice-I’m getting there,I’m working on an E.p with So’goodEnt, which is going to available soon.

L.V What are some of the challenges you are facing as a budding artist?

Blake the Voice-Well you need money to market your music, and shoot videos, as well as for transport to shows which is highly challenging.

L.V How do you record your music?

Blake the Voice-I record my ideas on my smart phone, and send them to a producer, or record to already made beats if i’m inspired by them…

L.V Do you think Zambian music is evolving?

Blake the Voice -I feel so because, if Zambia can accept great artists like Abel Chungu, Urban hype who are not just Zambian performers, but international performers too, it lends performers like me an opportunity to make it too, so yes it’s evolving.

L.V Which has been the highlight of your career so far?

Blake the Voice-Performing at Bittersweet poetry, being on Krytic Rap Entertainer’s album(Best before forever) and also working with JJ big brother..
