Evelyn Hone students riot

Police in Lusaka have arrested nine Students from the Evelyn Hone College for riotous behavior.

The students rioted on Thursday night in protest against the alleged suspension of one of the student Union leaders.

The riot took place around 23 hours.

Lusaka Province Commissioner of Police Charity Katanga has confirmed the arrest of the students.

Mrs. Katanga was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka.

She could however, not say if the students have been charged or not.
