Lecturers at the Copperbelt University -CBU- in Kitwe have vowed that they will only return to work when CBU Vice Chancellor Professor Naison Ngoma and his management are fired or resign.
This is despite the CBU Academic union holding a meeting with Education Minister Michael Kaingu.

The Copperbelt University Academic union said this through its President Mwiya Songolo at a media briefing in Kitwe.
Mr Songolo has further disclosed that lecturers will shun Thursday’s scheduled graduation ceremony at CBU.
The lectures have given Dr Kaingu up to next week to resolve the impasse at CBU.

  1. Honourable, please use the nurses and medical doctors formulae, fire the Lecturers if the strike is illegal, and employ others. The Zambian labour market is saturated.
