3 players tied at Unity tourney

THREE players were yesterday tied on three points at the on-going Heroes and Unity Chess Championship at Olympic Youth Development Centre in Lusaka.

FIDE Master (FM) Douglas Munenga, Godwin Phiri and Linus Katebe all managed three points after four rounds while FM Richmond Phiri joined seven other players tied on two and half points.

The seven are Robson Kameya, Prince Mulenga, Justin Daka, Timothy Kabwe, Geoffrey Luanja, Oscar Mwenya and Maxwell Gondwe.
International Masters Kelvin Chumfwa and Chitumbo Mwali are on two points alongside 14 others while Women FIDE Master Lorita Mwango and Constance Mwango are tied on three points in the women category.
