The Football Association of Zambia FAZ says Super League teams that will fail to meet the 2016 club licensing deadline will be relegated to Division one.

FAZ Licensing Manager Erick Mwanza says FAZ will start issuing licences next year after inspecting the respective clubs.

Mwanza says the inspection exercise will start immediately after the league goes on a season a break.

Mwanza says the outcome of the inspection exercise will determine how many teams shall be issued with licenses.

He was speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka on Wednesday.

And FAZ Communications Manager Nkweto Tembwe says the Disciplinary Committee will soon sit to hear why the Luena Buffaloes and Kabwe Warriors match was abandoned last weekend.

Tembwe says FAZ is disappointed with what transpired in Kaoma and has called on stakeholders to understand football to avoid such.

Meanwhile, Power Dynamos have shot second position in the FAZ super league after they silenced Nkwazi 3 -1 in Kitwe.

And Defending Champions Zesco United are now third on the log after they beat Nchanga Rangers 2 – 1 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

This was in a Week 10 rescheduled matches.

In Mazabuka Nakambala Leopards and Red Arrows settled for a nil all draw.
