Face off: Esther and Sandra ready to tango

After months off intimidating each other through exchanging words in the media, Esther Phiri and her South Africa opponent, Sandra Almeida finally came face to face.

The two met each other for the first time this morning at a press conference held at Best Western Hotel.

Sandra and Esther will face each other in the Women International Boxing Association-WIBA- and Women Boxing Federation-WBF- unification welterweight interim world title this Friday.

Sandra and her trainer Kenneth O’conno touched down at Kenneth Kaunda international airport around 15 hours yesterday.

The two have promised fireworks with Sandra saying she will knockout Esther in the fifth round.

Esther, affectionately known as KillerBee said she is confident that she will win the match.
