UPND President, Hakainde Hichilema says his party will resolve the failure of past leadership and convert Zambia’s great wealth into benefit for the people once elected in public office.
He said this while presenting on the, “Prospects for Zambia 2016” at the prestigious Royal Africa Society in London yesterday.
In his presentation, HH says UPND was seeking public office to resolve the failure of past leadership and convert Zambia’s great wealth into benefit for the people.
“It was once again refreshing mingling with academics, high-level business representatives and fellow Zambians and international professionals at the auditorium to hear our message on investment opportunities in Zambia and social and politica situation,” read a post on his facebook page.
“As UPND, we stressed the importance of prioritizing an economic turnaround for Zambia that would see local and international businesses flourish and, critically, increase employment opportunities, as well as revenues for investment in education and healthcare services,” he added.
HH said he also spoke about UPND’s position on governance as a partner to social and economic development, reiterating the need for the new constitution that Zambians are still waiting for.
