Football Association of Zambia President, Kalusha Bwalya has expressed satisfaction with the proceedings of the 2015 Annual General meeting which took place in Kabwe yesterday. Kalusha is also happy to note the meeting was held in a dignified manner which befits a meeting of intellectuals gathered to chart the way forward for Zambian football.
“Items on the agenda were debated with the seriousness our meetings deserved. All reports that were presented, including the financial statements were all adopted by our distinguished counselors” Kalusha told @fazfootball.com last evening
The Zambian football family yesterday converged in Kabwe to review the Association’s activities in the past year and also consider several other agenda items, like the proposed change to the constitution as regards the qualification of a presidential candidate.

When the proposed change was tabled for discussion, counselors asked for more time to debate and suggested to the chairman of the meeting (FAZ President) not to allow the motion to be taken to a vote.
“Football remains the most democratic institution in the world, if the counselors think they need more time to debate, I as chairman will comply to their request.” Kalusha said.
And Speaking on the adoption of the financial report, the FAZ boss said his Association will continue doing business transparently so that all the stakeholders are alive to what is happening.
“You can see the financial report has been adopted and that document is there for people to see”
Nchanga Rangers and Afrisports football clubs had forwarded suggestions to amend the constitution as regards the qualifications of anyone seeking to be the Association’s President.
And Kalusha has called for unity and discipline in the Zambian football fraternity. Speaking at the close of the 2015 AGM, he said there is need for the football family to have a respect for each other.
Meanwhile the 1988 African footballer of the year spent time after the meeting chatting and posing for pictures with the hundreds of delegates that converged in Kabwe for the annual event.
