The Zambia women’s senior national football team has intensified preparations ahead of the All Africa games qualifier return match against Tanzania on April 10.

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Communications Officer Nkweto Tembwe said the team was already in camp and was expected to arrive in Tanzania on April 9 in readiness for the match.

Speaking at a press briefing at Football House in Lusaka on March 26th 2015, Tembwe said the game will be played in Azam at 16:30 hours East African Time and 15:30hours Zambian time.

And Tembwe has said no player has been sidelined because the coach has already assessed the team that will be fit for the return match against Tanzania.

Zambia has to turn the two goals deficit after losing 4-2 to Tanzania in the first game played at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka last weekend.

Meanwhile, Tembwe has disclosed that the Zambia Under-23 national football team will resume camp on March 30th 2015 to prepare for the return match against Nigeria.

He said the final return game will be played on April 11th at the Heroes stadium in Lusaka.

Tembwe said the match against Nigeria will be a crucial one and has since called on all Zambians to support the team.

He added that the coaching bench wants to leave no stone unturned but ensure that the junior Chipolopolo qualifies to the All Africa games.
