All is set for the 2015 Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Annual General Meeting in Kabwe tomorrow.

Sports Minister Vincent Mwale will be the guest of honour at the AGM which will take place at Mulungushi Rock of Authority.

The AGM will discuss and debate submitted proposals by councilors under the rules and regulations of the FAZ constitution.

But focus will mainly be on the proposal by Nchanga Rangers that only those who have served in the FAZ executive be eligible to stand for the FAZ presidency.

The proposal has been condemned by the soccer fraternity.

And Chipolopolo Soccer Fans Association chairman Yotam Mwanza fears that the proposal, if adopted will hinder other people from contributing to the development of football.

Meanwhile, Zambia Sports Fans Association patron Peter Makembo says the move is undemocratic and not in the best interest of Zambian football.

And football analyst Reuben Kamanga says any piece of legislation meant to block an individual or a certain group of people from standing for the FAZ presidency should be not be tolerated.

But FAZ Communications Manager Nkweto Tembwe says the current FAZ Constitution does not limit how many times an office bearer shall stand for re-election.

Apart from the councilors, only accredited media personnel and individuals will be allowed to attend the non-elective AGM.
