Zambia U20 Coach, Hector Chilombo has admitted that Zambia took time to settle in this evening’s match and allowed their opponents, South Africa to capitalise on Chipolopolo’s shortcomings.

Speaking to press men at Senghor Stadium after the match, Chilombo said South Africa utilised their chances better and managed to catch Zambia on counter attacks which they positively executed.

Stand in captain, Spencer Sautu said it is very devastating to lose all the three games at this tournament.

“I am sad we have disappointed our people back home. At personal level I can say I am devastated, we should have done better” lamented the Green Eagles player.

Zambia this evening went down by five goas to two at the hands of perennial rivals, South Africa.

The junior Chipolopolo will depart Senegal early tomorrow morning and is expected to land in Zambia later in the evening.

  1. They were a bunch of disjointed team. A secondary school team would have done better
