Stanbic Bank donates to Mazabuka General Hospital

 

 

Mazabuka, March 10th, 2015, ZANIS —   Stanbic Bank Mazabuka Branch has donated assorted beddings worth over K18, 000 to Mazabuka General Hospital.

 

 

Stanbic Bank manager Godfrey Chitundu says  the donation came from his banks’ staff ‘s contributions.

 

 

Mr. Chitundu said the donated items one of their pillars under their corporate social responsibility is the promotion of health in the communities.  

 

 

He said the donation of these items’ to the children’s ward is critical and important to the lives many and it is for the same reason that as a branch, they identified the plight of the children‘s ward at the hospital.

 

 

“We trust that the donation of the required mattresses and beddings valued at over k18, 000 will contribute towards the provision of quality healthcare services to the hospital in the long run, “ he said.

 

 

ZANIS reports that the Bank’s manager was speaking when he on behalf of the bank donated beddings and other assorted items to the hospital’s childrens’wing.

 

 

Mr. Chitundu further expressed sincere gratitude to management and staff of Mazabuka General Hospital for according them the opportunity to extend a hand towards improving the welfare of the children at the hospital.

 

 

And speaking at the same occasion Deputy Minister in the Office of the Vice President Stephen Kapyongo expressed gratitude towards Stanbic Bank for the donation to the General Hospital.

 

 

Mr. Kampyongo said that the donation is a clear testimony that apart from conducting business, the bank is committed to uplifting the lives of people it is operating from.
