Father Katete is Lusaka Anglican Church Archdeacon

———————-The Anglican Church in Lusaka has inducted Father Jackson Katete as its Archdeacon.

 

Speaking after his induction at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Father Katete said he was humbled and exceedingly grateful for his new position.

 

Father Katete who takes over from Father Justine Lungu, said he is also grateful to the church for appointing him to the highest office in Lusaka.

 

He said he will work hard and live up to the expectations of the congregants and the general membership.

 

He has however called for church members to give him all the support that he needs to execute his duties.

 

Father Katete said in unity great things would be achieved in the church and the community.

 

Father Katete was inducted by Bishop David Njobvu who is the Archbishop of Lusaka Diocese.
