A former Commissioner of the Mung’omba Constitution Review Commission has supported the suggestion by political activist Dante Saunders that the President elect should only be sworn-in after 30 days of being elected.

Mr William Harrington however, says the suggestion by the Mr Saunders is not a new one.

Mr Harrington says the Mung’omba constitution review commission recommended that the president elect should only be sworn-in 30 days after being declared winner of the election.

He says this is to allow the aggrieved party to petition the results of the election in the courts of law.

Mr Harrington states that Zambians overwhelmingly submitted to the Mung’omba constitution review commission in this regards.
