Luwingu DC happy with construction of storage shed

—Luwingu District Commissioner, Mambwe Katontoka, has expressed gratitude with the construction of the maize storage shed in the district.

 

Mrs. Katontoka said the shed will help farmers secure their maize from being destroyed, especially in the rainy season.

 

She said this in an interview with ZANIS in Luwingu yesterday.

 

The DC disclosed that in the past years storing of maize had been a challenge because farmers did not have a proper storage facility.

 

Farmers in Luwingu have also expressed their gratitude to government for the construction of the shed.

 

Mathews Kabwe, one of the farmers, said the construction of the shed in the district will help the farmers secure their maize.
