—Police in Chinsali District of Muchinga Province have picked a dead body of a 17-year-old boy in a furrow near Chinsali Girls’ Secondary School.
Muchinga Police Deputy Commissioner, Bonny Kapeso, who confirmed incident, said the body of Arthur Sichamba of Rural Compound was discovered in a decomposed state lying in a furrow meant for house foundation.
Mr Kapeso said police, who visited the scene after a tip off from members of the public, found the body around 17:30 hours on Tuesday January 20, 2015 and that no visible injuries have been found on the body of Arthur.
Mr Kapeso told ZANIS today that the Sichamba was reported missing on January 13, 2015, adding that the cause of his death is not yet known.
The Deputy Chief of Police added that the remains of Sichamba are currently in Chinsali District Community Mortuary awaiting postmortem and investigations are underway.
