PF’s Lungu pulls a lead in all four constituencies in Ndola district

—————-The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) Presidential candidate, in the January 20 2015 Presidential election, Edgar Lungu has taken a lead in all the four constituencies in Ndola District.

 

ZANIS reports that Ndola Central Constituency Returning Officer Roy Kuseka announced that Mr Lungu had a total of 12, 610 votes followed by United Party for National Development (UPND)’s Hikainde Hichilema who scored 4, 662, while Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD)’s Edith Nawakwi was third with 248 votes.

 

Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD)’s Nevers Mumba was fourth with 166 votes, while United National Independence Party (UNIP)’s Tilyenji Kaunda was fifth with 63 votes, in the sixth position was NAREP’s Elias Chipimo who scored 61 votes followed by Heritage’s Godfrey Miyanda in Seventh position with 43 votes.

 

Christian Democratic Party (CDP)’s Daniel Pule was eighth with 27 votes while 4 Revolution Party (4R)’s Chanda Eric is ninth with 17 votes and Dr Ludwig Sondashi of Forum for Democracy Alternatives (FDA) is tenth with 15 votes while Green Party’s Peter Sinkamba is eleventh with 07 votes.

 

Ndola Central recorded a total of 237 rejected ballot papers.

 

In Chifubu constituency Returning Officer Joseph Kabwesha announced that  PF candidate Edgar Lungu had a total of 11, 817 votes followed by UPND’s Hikainde Hichilema with 3, 422 votes while Nevers Mumba of MMD had 286 votes.

 

Others are FDDs Edith Nawakwi with 199 votes, while UNIP’s Tilyenji Kaunda had 41 votes, and NAREP’s Elias Chipimo scored 36 votes.

 

Godfrey Miyanda of Heritage Party had 27 votes while CDP’s Daniel Pule scored 17 votes.

 

Eric Chanda of 4R totalled 20 votes with Dr Ludwig Sondashi of FDA recording 10 votes and Green Party’s Peter Sinkamba had 12 votes.

 

181 were rejected ballot papers.

In Bwana Mkubwa constituency Returning Officer Nicholas Malama announced that  PF candidate Edgar Lungu amassed 11, 284 votes followed by UPND’s Hikainde Hichilema with 3,038 votes while FDD’s Edith Nawakwi had 201 votes.

 

Others are MMD’s Nevers Mumba with 170 votes, while UNIP’s Tilyenji Kaunda had 55 votes, NAREP’s Elias Chipimo scored 32 votes.

 

Godfrey Miyanda of Heritage party had 43 votes while CDP’s Daniel Pule scored 24 votes.

 

Eric Chanda of 4R totalled 15 votes with Dr Ludwig Sondashi of FDA recording 07 votes and Green Party’s Peter Sinkamba had 06 votes, while 161 were rejected ballot papers.

In Kabushi constituency Returning Officer Dismis Muleba announced that  PF candidate Edgar Lungu got 12, 475 votes followed by UPND’s Hikainde Hichilema with 2,762 votes while FDD’s Edith Nawakwi had 170 votes.

 

Others are MMD’s Nevers Mumba with 90 votes, while UNIP’s Tilyenji Kaunda had 27 votes, and NAREP’s Elias Chipimo scored 34 votes.

 

Godfrey Miyanda of Heritage party had 19 votes while CDP’s Daniel Pule scored 17 votes.

 

Eric Chanda of 4R totalled 04 votes with Dr Ludwig Sondashi of FDA recording 11 votes and Green Party’s Peter Sinkamba had 09 votes.

 

Mr Muleba said 180 were rejected ballot papers.
