———-PF candidate, Edgar Lungu, has emerged victorious in Kalulushi with 11,371 Votes.

ZANIS Kalulushi reports that Mr Lungu was followed by UPND’s Haakainde Hichilema who had 4,040 votes in the Presidential election held yesterday.

Kalulushi District Electoral Officer, Shame Samalela, announced the results at exactly 07:00 hours this morning at Kalulushi Secondary School.

And Kalulushi Mayor, Bishop Bernard Mumba, has urged the PF to reposition itself ahead of the 2016 general elections.

Bishop Mumba said it is clear UPND had penetrated Kalulushi, adding that the PF needs to strengthen itself to regain its position in Kalulushi.

The Kalulushi Poll was caracterised by voter apathy with only about 16,000 people casting their votes out of 47,000 registered voters.

Meanwhile, Kalulushi Member of Parliament, (MP) Rayford Mbulu, is happy with the performance of the PF party in Kalulushi.

He said the PF has worn with a wide margin in Kalulushi and called on Zambians to continue supporting his party.
