Acting President woes votes for Edgar in Kasama

 

Kasama , January 18th, 2015, ZANIS—Acting Republican President Dr. Guy Scott has asked the people of Northern Province to vote for the PF because it is an action-oriented party.

 

 

And sports minister Chishimba Kambwili has called on Zambians vote for a credible presidential candidate who will unite the country.

 

 

Dr. Scott says the presidential by- elections on the January 20th  is about replacing the late president Michael Sata and not removing the PF from power.

 

 

He has  noted that PF is strong and will emerge victorious in the presidential election set for next week.

 

Dr. Scott pointed out that there were numerous developmental programmes taking place in Northern Province which he said should be used as example of how the PF is ready to initiate development in the area.

 

ZANIS reports that the Acting President said this when he addressed a public rally at the Presidents Park in Kasama , yesterday.

 

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Guy Scott has called for discipline in the ruling party.

 

 

He warned that the PF would institute disciplinary action against members found abrogating the  ruling party’s  constitution.

 

 

And sports minister Chishimba Kambwili has called on Zambians vote for a credible presidential candidate who will unite the country.

 

 

Mr. Kambwili asked the people of Kasama not be swayed by former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba into voting for an opposition candidate.

 

 

Dr. Scott was accompanied by Agriculture minister Wilbur Simuusa, Malole MP Christopher Yaluma, Matelo MP Miles Sampa, provincial minister Freedom Sikazwe and other senior government officials.

 

 

The rally was graced by Hip Hop Artiste Kaizya Milanzi commonly known as Macky 2 who advised the crowd to vote wisely and promote peaceful elections.
