Govt. has made strides in completing development projects – Dr Scott


Samfya, January 14th, ZANIS–Acting President Guy Scott says government has made strides in completing all the developmental projects left by the previous regime.

 


And Senior Chief Kalasamukoso praised government for the various
developmental projects taking place in the district such as the
construction of the new Samfya district hospital, roads and schools.

 

 

ZANIS reports that Dr. Scott said the completion of the various projects such as schools,
roads and hospitals shows the Patriotic Front (PF) government resolve
of ensuring that all Zambians have access to social services.

 


He said Zambians have seen for themselves the unprecedented
countrywide developmental projects that have taken place in the last
three years of the PF in power.

 


The Acting President said this when he paid a courtesy call on Senior
Chief Kalasamukolo and Chief Kasomabangweulu of the Kabende speaking
people in Samfya district today.

 

Dr. Scott reiterated government commitment of adopting an inclusive
developmental approach for the benefit of all Zambians.

 

And Senior Chief Kalasamukoso praised government for the various
developmental projects taking place in the district such as the
construction of the new Samfya district hospital, roads and schools.

 


The traditional ruler has however called on government to put in place
tangible measures to help reduce the rising number of Gender Based
Violence (GBV) cases which are on the rise in the district.

 


Senior Chief Kalasamukoso noted that most cases which are referred to
the hospital and clinics in the district arise from gender based
violence acts.
